Solar Eclipse Analemma If you were to go outside and take a picture of the sun from the same spot and time of day for an entire year, you could track the movement of the sun in the sky, and that movement would look exactly like this: a figure eight. This is called an analemma, and the term for an analemma containing a solar eclipse is a tutulemma, a term based on the Turkish word for eclipse. (x)
