Jupiter Hit By Rouge Asteroid

In 2009 Jupiter was hit by a stray asteroid, although it is likely it didn’t even notice. The unidentified object flew into Jupiter before shattering, scattering debris. The force of the explosion is thought to be around that of a 2,000+ nuclear strikes.
